christbaptism Parents preparing for the Baptism of a child must attend a baptism seminar and complete all necessary paperwork before a baptism can be scheduled. Please see the parish events calendar for a schedule of seminars. Please contact the parish office to register for a seminar. The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated on Sundays after the 11:00 a.m. Mass.

Marriage

Couples wishing to be married at St. Mary Magdalen Church are encouraged to contact Ms. Renella Livers in the parish office at 337-893-0244 to discuss scheduling and procedures. All engaged couples must begin the marriage preparation process a minimum of six months prior to the intended wedding date to allow sufficient time for marriage preparation as directed by Diocesan policy. We allow weddings to be scheduled up to twelve months in advance of your intended wedding date.

Safe Environment Training

The VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children Online Awareness Training may be used to complete required yearly Continuing Education for Safe Environment.

This is for volunteers who are in need of Continuing Education. Initial Trainings must still be attended in a live session. Live sessions are held at St. Mary Magdalen Parish during the month of February every calendar year.
